Driving Experience

Firstly, the Focus ST is available with four Selectable Drive Modes: Slippery, Normal, Sport and Track. Each setting fine-tunes the hot hatch’s performance by modifying engine mapping, throttle position, brake pedal and steering response. This is combined with Enhanced Torque Vectoring, Electronic Stability Control, and a performance-tuned chassis, for optimal handling whether you’re driving on the motorway or enjoying a day on the track.

Outstanding Ride Quality

Secondly, the Focus ST comes armed Ford’s sophisticated Continuously Controlled Damping technology. This smart system continuously monitors vehicle suspension. It then adjusts individual damping responses to deliver enhanced comfort and outstanding driving dynamics. For petrol vehicles equipped with the optional Ford Performance Pack, an enhanced, adaptive version of CCD makes further adjustments to the suspension settings. According to the individual drive mode you have selected, the system will fine-tune individual damper settings to optimise your chosen drive mode.

Faster Off The Line

Thirdly, designed to deliver a consistent take off and maximise acceleration off the line, Focus ST is equipped with Launch Control. Set the maximum rpm for the engine and you can put your foot flat on the throttle whilst the car holds your desired rpm.
