Marketing Executive

Marketing Executive

We are seeking a dynamic individual to boost company awareness and lead generation through both online and offline marketing and advertising. In this role, you will shape the marketing activities for the Fordthorne Group, a family-owned business offering new and used car and commercial vehicle sales, servicing, and associated services under its umbrella. Our brands include Ford car and commercial vehicle sales and servicing, the soon-to-launch OMODA and JAECOO car sales, Fordthorne Used Vehicles, HiQ Cardiff, and Cardiff Auto Electrics.

£25,000-£26,520 annual salary depending on experience

Key Responsibilities (if you do not have experience in some of the areas, we’d still love to hear from you as training opportunities are available):

  • Create social media content for Fordthorne and Cardiff Auto Electrics on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Update our databases with leads.
  • Conduct email marketing via MailChimp and SMS marketing through Text Marketer.
  • Update our websites (WordPress and Net Director) with new offers and stock.
  • Create print advertising for various media, including outdoor signage and vehicle decals.
  • Develop paid social, PPC, and GDN campaigns.
  • Perform SEO optimisation and copywriting for web and print marketing, including product descriptions, blog posts, editorials, and press releases.
  • Use CRM management software, Hootsuite, WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, and more.

Skills and Experience:

  • Social media account management with an interest in social media trends.
  • Knowledge of and interest in marketing strategy.
  • Graphic design skills (experience with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop is advantageous).
  • Interest or experience in product launches, event organisation, and marketing.
  • Creative thinker with strong self-motivation and teamwork abilities.
  • Full driving license is required.

  • £25,000-£26,520 pro rata, paid on the 25th of each month.

Technician

Technician Vacancy

We are thrilled to announce the opening of our new dealership, Omoda & Jaecoo in addition to our Ford franchise and are seeking skilled Qualified or Time-Served Technicians to join our dedicated team at our workshop on Penarth Road, Cardiff.

£24,538.80-£35,000.00 per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform service and repair work on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
  • Prepare new and used cars for sale.
  • Adhere to all safety and quality standards.
  • Participate in training Apprentices.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with all vehicle makes and models is essential.
  • Ford experience is advantageous for this role.
  • Light Vehicle Qualification or equivalent time-served experience.
  • Full Driving Licence with an acceptable record.
  • Computer literacy.

Additional Opportunities:

  • We offer funding for MOT Training and Refresher courses for employees interested in becoming certified MOT Testers.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technician to join the team at our modern Transit Centre workshop on Penarth Road, Cardiff.

£27,000- £32,000 per year + uncapped bonus

Essential Skills:

  • Light Vehicle Qualification / Time Served also accepted
  • Full Driving Licence with an acceptable record.
  • Computer Literate
  • Good verbal and written English skills
  • Ability to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Desirable Skills:

  • MOT Tester (We will fund MOT Training /Refresher courses for employees who wish to become MOT Testers).
  • Main dealer Experience
