The Dropside is ideal if you want a cost-effective, professional image for your business. It may be easy to drive, but it’s no slouch. Available with Single or Double cab, in FWD or RWD, automatic transmission on FWD models, and with body lengths ranging from 2.9m to 5.3m there’s a model to suit most needs. On L2 350 FWD models, there’s also a choice of Standard or Premium dropside float bodies.

This plugs in to the socket below the driver’s seat to give you assured and easy control when side-tipping.
5-stage chromium plated ram
Mounted in a durable steel gimbal, complete with shock absorbers and electrical limit switches to control the tipping angle.
Dual mode hinged tailboard
Use the side-mounted remote lever for a top-hinged operation, or the pillar latches for a bottom-hinged operation.
Ford Transit Conversions – Luton and Box Van
Packed with features and space for larger loads
The drive-away solution for those who deal with larger loads. The One-Stop Transit Luton / Box Van can handle a competitive payload. Yet it’s light, nimble and durable enough to cope with multi-drop distribution. Innovative restraints secure any load size and there’s an emergency door-override in case the shutter is accidentally closed while someone’s in the load space.
Available in Front Wheel Drive with a choice of manual or automatic transmission or Rear Wheel Drive.

These tough, telescopic retention poles can be easily configured in a number of ways to secure any size of load.
Rear Shutter
The wide-slat shutter rolls up and out of the way for maximum headroom.

Ford Transit Conversions – Skeletal Chassis Cab
Make light work of heavy jobs
Skeletal Chassis models are ideal for conversions that require a low floor and walk-through access from the cab. The vehicle is supplied without a cabin back panel and it incorporates interface points on the B-pillars. This is designed to enable the correct fixing of the conversion. And once converted, the new body contributes to the overall rigidity of the complete vehicle. These models are also ideal for conversions that require a low floor; the Skeletal Chassis floor is 633-635mm, compared to a standard Chassis Cab floor which is 736-738mm.
Low chassis floor
A low chassis floor allows easy entry for conversions, removing the need for a tail lift.
Heavy payload
Built with a strong full ladder frame chassis, the vehicle has a substantial payload capacity of up to 2,390kg.
Open-back cab
Allows unrestricted walk-through access from the cab to the load space of the converted vehicle.
