Ford Lease – Let’s Talk Business

Ford Lease offers a range of vehicle financing products including Ford Contract Hire.

How It Works

• Ford Contract Hire from Ford Lease is for business customers only.
• You pay an advance rental (minimum one month) and then fixed monthly rentals for the duration of the agreement. This is a period of between 24 to 48 months.
• At the end of the agreement you simply return your vehicle to Ford Lease*
• We can then discuss your future requirements.
• You will not own the vehicle.
• For additional peace of mind you can add service and maintenance to the contract (at additional cost)
• Rentals exclude VAT and based on 5,000 miles per annum. Ask for a quote if you are interested in a different mileage band.
• VAT registered businesses may be able to reclaim all or part of the VAT element of the monthly rental.

What is it?

E-Transit Flexibility provides your business* with the opportunity to review your E-Transit experience within the first 6 months of the contract to discuss
whether to:

• Continue with the current arrangement and keep your E-Transit or
• Return the vehicle with no Early Termination fee^
• We will then be happy to discuss next steps.

This is all designed to make your transition to EVs that little bit less daunting.

At The End

At the end of the agreement, you are responsible for selling the commercial vehicle on behalf of Ford Lease by choosing one of the following options:

• Sell the vehicle on behalf of Ford Lease to a third party
• Agree a part exchange price with your Ford Dealer and the Dealer purchases the vehicle from Ford Lease.
• Ford Lease will return 100% of the sale proceeds to you and any fees associated with the vehicle sale.

You may extend your agreement by paying a nominal peppercorn rental of £100+VAT per year.

If you have taken the balloon option, you must settle the balloon amount with Ford Lease at the end of the primary term.

Will Ford Contract Hire work for me and my business?

• If you don’t want to own your commercial vehicle, Ford Contract Hire could be the option for you

At The End

There are no part exchange or disposal issues. At the end of the agreement, you simply return the vehicle to us. Your dealer can discuss your new car needs and provide you with a new finance quote.  If you are interested then you take out a new Ford Contract Hire agreement and collect the latest model^***.

Business users only. You will not own the vehicle at the end of the agreement.

Ford Finance Lease & Ford Contract Hire Plans for Business Customers

Important Information regarding new van leasing and contract hire

Ford Contract Hire : Vehicles must be returned in good condition and within agreed mileage, otherwise further charges will be incurred.

*Finance Lease : Vehicles leased under Finance Lease are not subject to annual mileage limits. Early settlement may incur fees and charges. At the end of the initial contract period you will have three options to settle the balloon rental payment: 1) pay the balloon and keep the vehicle, entering into a secondary term (for up to 10 years) by paying a nominal annual fee after which you must return the vehicle to Ford Lease; 2) return the vehicle to Ford Lease for them to sell on your behalf ; 3) Sell the vehicle as Ford Lease’s agent paying any proceeds directly to Ford Lease. For options 2 and 3 Ford Lease will offset the proceeds of the vehicle’s sale against the balloon payment. You will be liable for any shortfall but you will be entitled to any surplus should the vehicle sale price exceed the balloon payment.
