Ford Care Code

Our showroom has been adapted to ensure social distancing whilst test drives, service appointments and handovers have been revised to ensure you remain safe at all times. We are following the Ford Care Code throughout the business which means the highest standard of safety at all times. As things return to normal, we want to keep our customers safe. We are following the Ford Care Code.
We follow an extensive check list to ensure your serviced vehicle is sanitised. Our new and used stock vehicles are also being regularly sanitised.
We are following safe procedures for test drives in our sanitised vehicles.
Where possible we offer touch free payment.
Our reception and desks are fitted with protective screens and our staff have Personal Protective Equipment to help keep you safe.
We are offering a range of virtual services including online demonstrations and no-touch demonstrations.
Our servicing can be booked online, and we offer a range of options for customers including mobile servicing.
We are adhering to the 2m Social Distancing guidelines across our Dealerships.

Is Fordthorne’s showroom open?

In line with the latest government guidelines, our physical showrooms are open. We are also available online for all digital enquiries, and our staff can still call you to provides quotes and information if you are not comfortable coming into our showroom. Click and collect is also available whilst service remains open. For any questions speak to us via our website’s live chat, calling 02920 223 100 or message us direct on our social channels.

Can I still talk to the sales team online or by phone if I don’t want to come in?

Yes of course, we can offer appointments on the phone as well as video calls to show you around vehicles if needs be.

Is Fordthorne’s service department open?

Service facilities are available for new and returning customers, but to keep everyone safe, we are operating with a smaller team, and pre-booked appointments only. We are currently providing courtesy vehicles but not any customer waiting area at this time. Please do not make an unnecessary journey to see us if you haven’t had an appointment confirmed. Motability customer queries

Is the Motability scheme re open?  

The scheme is open. Motability have put together an extensive list of FAQs on their website which we hope will answer all questions regarding your situation. You can find them here:

Am I able to buy a vehicle and sign documents online?

You can reserve a vehicle by contacting us, but would need to come into the showroom to sign paperwork; we have a designated finance pod where you can sign documents safely and contact free.

When will test drives be available again?

Test drives are now available with revised focus on how they carried out. Please talk to our team for more information.

Will a new/used car be delivered to my home address if purchased online?

We would not able to deliver the car to you directly but can reserve the vehicle to be picked-up from our showroom.

Are your phone lines still open; what is the best way to get in contact with you?

Phone lines are open again but due to demand and capacity, we apologise in advance if there is any delay. You can also contact us on live chat, social media, or fill out a relevant enquiry form on the website where one of our team will get back to you as soon as possible.

I make monthly payments on my car will this be affected, and how can I get support?

If you have finance concerns, it is best contact the Finance company that the query relates to, we have put the finance company links below where you can contact them direct.
